these sprites are slightly different from the MSX2 version I'm pretty sure
it's sonyc not sonic
these look like reshades of sonic 1 master system
Also checked and the MSX2 version has 1 less colour. The dark grey is missing affecting the eyes, gloves and sneakers. All that down to limitations.
