Gave this submission a long-needed re-rip, including the rest of the actual Character Select screen elements (originally there were just random main menu sprites), separating the individual character sprites and removing all of the junk pixels leftover in the process.

Am I the only one who is disappointed that Tails and Cream weren’t a special combo? They’re in the same age group and are both the fly characters of their respective Heroes teams.
Probably obsolete comment, but where are the special combo texts that replace the "Please select a character" text? Like if you put Sonic & Tails together you get "Unbreakable Bond".
