Not really. I use VisualBoyAdvance, and while the fighters in this game have a lot of pieces in the OAM viewer, I simply deactivate the background layers and take screenshots of each sprite. The only ones I needed to use the OAM viewer for were the hurt sprites, since those were overlapped by the opponent. It takes a while, but it's not hard.
Is this a hard rip?
