My bad, the comment directly above that one must have thrown me off.
Were they not asking for the roulette of items on the Waluigi Pinball map though? That sheet contains the texture used for that prop, were they referring to something else?
No, they are in fact sprites. The texture you've linked to here is not the correct asset at all, and is a 4x4 compressed texture used by the 3D engine on the main screen.
The actual sprites being referred to here exist in a sprite sheet that can only by used by the sub screen 2D engine.
You wouldn't want to use the copy pasted "sprites" from the Waluigi Pinball roulette texture, as they are compressed texels and not the original artwork.
2D assets cannot be shared between the main screen and sub screen in Mario Kart DS, and the sub screen does not have access to 3D tex VRAM.

They're textures, not sprites, hence why they're not here. You can find them in this page on The Textures Resource.
where are those sprites that show you on the bottom screen what item each player has? i cant find them anywhere ive checked the menu, bottom screen and many more
Why there is no sprites of the slot items seen in Waluigi Pinball?
Isn't Lakitu also a sprite with a modeled arm and flag grafted to it?
The Miscellaneous section should be broken down into more specific sub-sections. Perhaps a section for custom text, kart/character graphics and menu items for a start. Whatever doesn't sort into those groups can just remain Miscellaneous
Does anyone know where I can find the character names used in the character select? I've been looking for them and no place I know of has them ripped.
