	Funnily enough, the appearance in the comic actually used this sheet as a reference for his colours. According to the artist, it was at least a better palette than green and brown to avoid confusion with the useless and one-dimensional Archie character, Tommy. Boomer was one of the first pitches for Sonic's sidekick before Tails was chosen. He's still a cool design though. I mean, what's not to love about a rocket turtle and references to the cult Kaiju franchise Gamera? (Gamera had two abilities to fly: UFO and rocket)
