By default, all traffic will be challenged but logged in users will bypass those challenges completely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as it was never our intention to try to force registration and you certainly still don't have to - passing one of those challenges should keep you in the clear for a half-hour otherwise.

@Ronald No? 63 used a much bigger one build from actual SM64 textures. This is a rendition of the Paper Mario one that was used in SM63's predecessor, Super Mario Sunshine 64, as well as a prototype build of SM63 called Super Mario 128.
