@Dennis'N'Mooch That is correct as DKC was still in the process of being finished. This game was released on June 14th while DKC was released on November 18th. Although the first public appearance of the Modern DK and Modern Cranky was June 23rd at the Summer CES in Chicago, the very last one to be held (E3 replaced it in all following years up until the pandemic hit, and its unofficial cancellation for this year) |

It seems they where planned to be in the game at some point, or at least supposed to appear in cutscenes. people who played around with the debug menü found face sprites of Android 19, Android 17, semi-perfect Cell, base Form Gohan and Trunks and Even muten Roshi in the Data.
