Core Design was very inspired by the Lotus series when making this and this shows as they did the car stereo too (strangely enough both the original Amiga version and Lotus 3 came out at the same year with similar features...). |

Aside from the poorly drawn flames, I like this version a lot more than the final, mostly because it looks like he's actually moving and charging at X like a real buffalo. |

@Ultimate Saito: For this rip, I used snes9x for general ripping, then I switched over to zsnes and vsnes to get the palettes and small portions of the sprites that I couldn't get before. This was before I downloaded Bizhawk which lets you do both at once :/ |

@Yawackhary I think you might be refering to Liza from the first TV Special "Bye-bye Lady Liberty - Crisis Averted!", as she looks relatively close to the girl shown, as well as her own robes in the climax, and the special's overall artstyle closely resembling that of "Lupin vs. the Clones/Secret of Mamo" As for that other car present in the last slide, I think it might be a Citroën 2CV, which was one of the cars that was used in Part 1, alongside the Mercedes Benz SSK and the Fiat |
