@Stickfin the game let's you play in either portrait or landscape mode, because of that they made different sized sprites to accommodate for it (the large sprites are for portrait mode, these sprites are for landscape mode) |

That thumbnail looks VAGUELY familiar. I think it was on MSN Games? The memory I have, if my details are right, was that there was a dark blue sky, and the whole cooking station was on the right, but didn't take up the corners. |

Oh I only just saw this @SSK02 in the final world of the game, there are buzzsaw obstacles that damage Pac-Man, causing him to use that unique sprite when he gets hit by them. The sprite is in two halves so that the saw blade can visibly travel "through" Pac-Man, however in-game the two halves of the sprite never actually separate, making the "insides" there normally unseen in the game, only being visible when extracting the raw graphics. |

Props to all the animators of the DLC's bosses: Hanna Abi-Hanna (Glumstone), Jake Clark (Mortimer), Rapeepat Jewanarom (Esther), Tina Nawrocki (Howling Aces), and Joseph Coleman (Moonshine Mob and Saltbaker) for how incredible the animation turned out. @WilliamStef Technically Super Pierrot is a later revision that also got ported to the MSX. Japan got Do! Run Run like the rest of us. As for why Universal changed it from Mr. Do! to Super Pierrot. No clue. Only things that I can think of are either a copyright issue or they wanted to make a quick buck on unsold boards since they quit making games during this time (only started again when they became the pachinko company Aruze). |
