If you're confused at what the Kanji reads due to the miniscule font size, here are the characters in order of appearance: 第, 章, 話, 朝, 目, 止, 巨, 大, 口, 城, 穴, 水, 地, 下, 号, 果, 森, 出, 空, 町, 列, 最, 終, 上, 匹, 中, 宝 & 厶 Also also, the hiragana: が (ga), ざ (za), ど (do), じ (ji/zhi), だ (da), で (de), ぺ(pe), ご (go) & the smaller ゃ(ya), ゅ(yu), ょ (yo) & っ (tsu) remain as unused leftovers in the US/EUR releases You're welcome :3 |

i was about to post a comment "i don't think these devs knew 'grand prix' is a racing term" but after doing a short amount of research, this is actually based on a real event and stars real athletes doing street fighter special moves. incredible. |

@RaguRando Those are likely tile borders, or outlines in the individual tiles that make up the sprites. If you want to use them without them, just paste the image into MS Paint, use the eyedropper tool, and fill in the cyan portion. |
