Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
I'm interested in ripping some sprites from this game for personal use (though I might contribute a sheet or 2 if I feel like it), but all of the 'resources' I've found by searching on how to rip anything to this point have been very... unhelpful. Any pointers?

Sonic the Hedgehog
An early prototype did have the Master System Sonic sprites so probably a late or even a last minute decision like with the Sega logo, warning arrows, some changed level design in Labyrinth and the final boss. I don't know why... Might be a screen size thing or wanted a more detailed sprite?

Sonic 2 and Chaos mostly used the same Sonic sprites between the Master System and Game Gear versions but those were done by Aspect rather than Ancient.

Corrections to my previous comment:
* The first line of Yellow is meant to fade into the last 4 shades of Red while also fading from the first 4 shades of the second set of Yellow.
* Blue wasn't "recycled" from Wolf3D, since it has a much sharper decline (going all the way from 255 to 0 in 16 colors rather than Wolf3D's 255 to 64). That being said, it's the same pure blue (with Red and Green having values of 0)

Fun fact: this dialogue, stating that "Simon couldn't survive his fatal wounds" was actually meant to be used for the "greyscale bad ending" (the one without Simon). The developers accidentally mixed up the ending dialogue, and forgot to change it.

@lol2fast This sheet is ancient (hence why it uses a white background, which is a big no-no nowadays since it can easily bleed). Back then, it hadn't occurred to people their contacts or caring-about-it might not be around forever.
