| Oct 19, 2017 6:40 PM | Random Talking Bush | Asset: Beetrice Lutz | @braden0531: I don't know if you've been paying attention to either the message in the comment box you've been typing in or the fact you've been warned about this multiple times, but you're not allowed to post requests on the main sites. Either get them yourself, or see what happens when you break the rules one more time. |
| Oct 19, 2017 6:26 PM | Gaia | Asset: Beetrice Lutz | Cuphead also shows you how sprites used to be made! while sprites these days are purely digital, most back then were hand-drawn like this character here! |
| Oct 19, 2017 5:53 PM | Random Talking Bush | Game: Cuphead: Don't Deal With the Devil! | @braden0531: Why don't you get them yourself? It's not hard, all you need is the game and Unity Studio. |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:42 PM | sonic1x100 | Asset: Jotaro Kujo | Where can i find Star Platinum? |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:41 PM | sonic1x100 | Asset: DIO | where can i find The World? |
| Oct 19, 2017 2:54 PM | LakituBro | Game: Paper Mario Customs | Well in the universe of WarioWare, Wario makes the game that you play, meaning the WarioWare canon is already broken. |
| Oct 19, 2017 12:56 PM | Snessy the Duck | Asset: Commander Torque | Tbh I actually prefer his shellduck design over his regular one. |
| Oct 19, 2017 10:57 AM | Filler | Asset: Background Screens | Pretty sure the angry dev has a name, but I forget who it was (I think it's Karl, but don't quote me on it). They are one of the game's devs, though. There are tons more that could be added to this sheet, though. Such as the rotating cube. |
| Oct 19, 2017 7:31 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: Mecha-Chomp | There's actually a bit of irony with this: The goofy-faced Mechakoopa is actually more "expressive" than this little guy, but people complain that the remake took out all the "expressiveness." I think a better term would be "uniqueness." It took away a bit of the uniqueness, while inexplicably faithfully keeping a lot at the same time. |
| Oct 19, 2017 6:35 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: Dodongo Snake (A Link to the Past-Style) | Jeeze seeing the head isometric is SO WEIRD.....just not used to that... |
| Oct 19, 2017 6:33 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: ???? | Do they still parse Sand-Cheep with the dash? Anyways, this is certainly an improvement over this sheet being called "Sharkbone." On a side note, I like how they kept using the Blurp design, was worried they might change it to a normal Cheep Cheep design. .....aaaaaanyways, given that "????" is the name that shows up in-game, that's going to be the name that people will be looking for the sheet by. No need to obfuscate things. |
| Oct 19, 2017 6:32 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: Monty Mole | Mega Mole, Morty Mole, Mega Monty Mole (from Star Rush and Mario Maker) and this. Monties get a lot of biggies. |
| Oct 19, 2017 6:29 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: Mecha-Chomp | @ShyGuyXXL Wind-up toys, much like slinkies, Mr. Potato Head, tin/wooden soldiers, and green army men, are simply iconic. Robot Dogs, while cool, haven't exactly gained that niche. Just saying, back when this game was made, those were still a cool new thing. Now they're a cool older thing nobody remembers without prodding. Also, they might have thought it would look too weird in a prerender style, which I thought as well until you proved me wrong on DA. I might make this guy for a SMAS SMB3 style, I've been going for framey recently, and puppy needs lovies. |
| Oct 19, 2017 5:57 AM | Nitwitsworld | Asset: Dodongo Snake (A Link to the Past-Style) | Sweet Jesus! He's a youthful guy, ain't he? |
| Oct 19, 2017 5:20 AM | TechWizard | Game: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions | Is the Bowser's Castle background in the end scene of Bowser's Minions a background or a 3D model? |
| Oct 19, 2017 5:05 AM | ShyGuyXXL | Asset: Mecha-Chomp | @Doc That's no reason to scrap such a cool enemy. You know what else is really dated? Wind-up toys. But Woohoo Hooniversity still has wind-up toy mice running around. The more likely reason is that they were running out of time and/or money, so they recycled an old enemy. |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:58 AM | ShyGuyXXL | Game: Paper Mario Customs | @Doc, @Lakitubro What about 9-Volt in WarioWare Smooth Moves having a WarioWare Twisted Microgame in his stage? Does that make WarioWare a seperate canon inside itself? Did we just create a black hole of canonuity? |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:49 AM | ShyGuyXXL | Asset: Woohoo Hooniversity Researcher | @Tailikku We were talking about the few black pixels above the mouth. |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:47 AM | ShyGuyXXL | Asset: Monty Mole | I don't mind the color change, but I do miss the shades. |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:26 AM | Dolphman | Game: Freedom Planet | Correction: They were originally fan characters, but as people who tested the early beta suggested. They turned into more original characters. More-so in the upcoming sequel. |
| Oct 19, 2017 4:25 AM | Nitwitsworld | Asset: Monty Mole | Too bad they aren't yellow anymore. lol |
| Oct 19, 2017 3:56 AM | Bomb Bloke | Asset: White Baby | v2.15.0 has added Halloween Alice sprites to White Baby's victory poses. |
| Oct 19, 2017 3:52 AM | Tailikku | Asset: Woohoo Hooniversity Researcher | Thay're teeth actually |
| Oct 19, 2017 3:49 AM | Tailikku | Asset: ???? | Actually yes, both are given separate folders in the game's files. One for Sand-Cheep, the other for Sharkbone |
| Oct 19, 2017 3:28 AM | Cheesy Mac n Cheese | Game: THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls | Well, there are more card sizes I haven't even started ripping yet, and whole new sets of cards are released at least once weekly, so I think I'm done sheeting these submissions. From now on, I'll have to ZIP them. Maybe condense all the sizes into one sheet per idol, unless you guys want to have to load this page and scroll through it. |
| Oct 19, 2017 2:38 AM | Hans-Cuff | Asset: General Sprites | @Doc von Schmeltwick Vinesauce Joel (the guy who started the meme) is actually sick of the meme now. lol But SIIva Gunner is not, and i don't think siiva ever will be... like a never ending Meme Machine of Pain. |
| Oct 19, 2017 2:37 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: Magikoopa | @Sonikku A ... https://www.spriters-resource.com/3ds/marioluigisuperstarsagabowsersminions/sheet/97909/ In what UNIVERSE is this "unexpressive?" |
| Oct 19, 2017 2:06 AM | Sonikku A | Asset: Luigi (Overworld) | Trivia: Out of all the M&L games, this is the only one where Luigi's color scheme is accurate to its game's art |
| Oct 19, 2017 1:57 AM | Sonikku A | Asset: Cobalt Star | It looks like one of the Star spirits from Paper Mario or Mario Party 5 |
| Oct 19, 2017 1:44 AM | Sonikku A | Asset: Tolstar | I just realized Tolstar is just an obese BeanBean variant of the enemy spike |
| Oct 19, 2017 1:40 AM | Sonikku A | Asset: Magikoopa | I liked the wacky artstyle this game had. The remake was way too generic and unexpressive That being said, Kind of odd this enemy had an on model to mainstream Mario model |
| Oct 18, 2017 9:59 PM | Stephen Universe | Asset: Mugman (NES) | Hey! What a coincidence! It’s me, from DeviantArt! |
| Oct 18, 2017 9:38 PM | BubbledDEV | Asset: Freddy Jumpscare 1 | Help me... |
| Oct 18, 2017 9:14 PM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: ???? | They don't HAVE given names in-game though. |
| Oct 18, 2017 9:13 PM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: ???? | The names aren't in the game in most regions though, just in the Prima Guide. The enemy is "????". |
| Oct 18, 2017 8:52 PM | Void-the-Bat | Asset: Bosses | I think I know where that huge water splash sprite in the HPZ boss from the 2013 version of Sonic 2 came from... |
| Oct 18, 2017 8:42 PM | Silversea | Asset: ???? | Calling this "Sand-Cheep and Sharkbone" would do fine too. You can't see them in the game by their names since the identity is intentionally hidden. We don't need to hide their names here. |
| Oct 18, 2017 8:42 PM | Silversea | Asset: ???? | It would make more sense to me if they were labelled by the given names, for sheet purposes. |
