This is a message to those who think that these games are bootlegs and all the sprites were stolen. This series of games was released between 2006 and 2008 on mobile phones with J2ME OS. Versions of these games were officially published in Russian, Ukrainian and English. The authors of the games had a website where you could see promotional materials for these games, as well as download their demo versions. Of course, this series of games was inspired by shooters of the 90s, BUT does not contain direct copy-paste of any sprites.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge

Skin 2 is actually based on the action figures, not Turtles in Time, hence the brown weapons. Skin 7 is meant to be the outfits the Archie comics TMNT were given when they did interdimensional wrestling. Raphael kept his black bodysuit for ages and ages after that storyline was over, it's very iconic to that version of the TMNT.

Skin 8 is based on the Glow in the Dark special action figures, which is very obscure.

Since only the 4 turtles got a wrestler outfit in Archie, ditto with the glowing action figures, those slots are used for other characters to give them sort of wacky colors. It's character-specific, but it's often references to different iterations of Tournament Fighters, the Michael Bay films, etc.

As a result, the ZIP also includes any duplicate sprites shared across regions (as well as normal maps, small variants, and any unused sprites.)

@Barack Obama I'll go check... (loads up Emulicious and checks the Tilemap Viewer, used for background ripping)

The maps are not meant to have the NPC sprites in this game. Not only that but they animate too... Yeah, the maps would need re-ripping.

(While they are a few games that do bake the NPC sprites into the map, this is not one of them. Both MEKA and Emulicious have ripping tools, MEKA can remove the background layer/sprites layer too...)
