I think Amadeus was just edited from Parker's sprites, since a number of bosses have been proven to be frankenstein'd from previous Metal Slug games. So I think they're intended to be separate people.

@InfernusXS maybe Red Goblin has to take all the damage only from fire attack until he dies to trigger his fiery death? I'm not sure but that must be why you and BombBloke managed to trigger it with Ralf and Anima because most of their attack has fire attribute.

@SoldierRebel You should check out MetalSlugAttack on Reddit. I made a post about Red Goblin's fire death and someone did some testing and discovered that perhaps it's not the fireballs setting him on fire, but that you have to do a certain amount of damage to set him on fire
