| Oct 22, 2020 11:05 PM | ZeroJanitor | Game: Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters | @Gaia That's because Capcom arcade games typically had a resolution of 384x224, compared to the much narrower 256x224 resolution of the SNES. Because both games were made to play on 4:3 monitors, the arcade sprites were made wider to compensate for the fact that they would be squished when displayed on-screen. |
| Oct 22, 2020 10:58 PM | DogToon64 | Game: Super Mario World: Just Keef Edition (Hack) | ... until then, I submitted one of the least noticed characters in both this and the original. |
| Oct 22, 2020 10:52 PM | questionmarkboi | Asset: Kung Lao (Mortal Kombat 3 Game Boy-Style) | I actually would like kung lao in mk3 gb,he could be added in the UMK3 gameboy project somebody is making though. |

| Oct 22, 2020 9:26 PM | TotallyProperUsername | Game: Among Us Customs | 2 crewmates, in fact. |

| Oct 22, 2020 8:40 PM | TheRedSmarty | Game: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate | I don't know if this has been answered on one of the sheets before but... for the Fighter Portraits, where are the "chara_0" sprites used, where are the "chara_1" sprites used, and so on... |

| Oct 22, 2020 6:16 PM | Doc Melonhead | Asset: Chao | This is the best ripped of the Chao and the TCG assets that I have ever seen; you even got all of the unused sprites. |
| Oct 22, 2020 6:10 PM | Doc Melonhead | Asset: Metal Sonic Kai | @Tailikku, Ton, and TheMorningFlash15, as far as I know, there's no official name of this form of Metal Sonic (at least, not made public anyways). Hopefully the original design document on the character are stored somewhere within SEGA's privite archive; but, as of the time of this post, its true name remains a mystery. |
| Oct 22, 2020 5:39 PM | VisitorDoido | Asset: Sonic 1 Title Screen Font (Expanded) | this is amazing! I was looking for it in many places until I finally found it, congratulations to those who did it |
| Oct 22, 2020 5:16 PM | nam deksam | Asset: HUD | Pretty sure I've seen it ingame |
| Oct 22, 2020 4:51 PM | XraN | Asset: Toadsworth (Super Mario World-Style) | I like this |
| Oct 22, 2020 4:06 PM | nam deksam | Game: Tom and Jerry | This game just looks like something from a dream or something you'd play very early on a Saturday morning before anyone in your family is awake. |
| Oct 22, 2020 1:24 PM | Ton | Asset: You Say! Sign (Mania, Somari, and Master System-Style) | "You Say!" sounds like the name of a 70s Hanna Barbera cartoon about a koala that solves mysteries. |
| Oct 22, 2020 12:42 PM | TheWispGuy | Asset: Stardust Speedway Zone 3 (Good Future) | Never knew Stardust Speedway's Good Future had three different backgrounds, I just figured they were all the same. |
| Oct 22, 2020 12:20 PM | Ton | Asset: Peepa (Paper Mario: The Origami King-Style) | Good call. Moved! |
| Oct 22, 2020 12:03 PM | WallE_8_0YT | Asset: Henry Stickmin (Super Mario Bros. 1 NES-Style) | @RetroBit U mean A:Make a Snes version B:the same sprites but with shades |
| Oct 22, 2020 12:01 PM | DogToon64 | Asset: Mario, Luigi, Toad, Toadette and Items (SMB3) | @GlacialSiren141 What I'm saying is that I like this Fire Luigi. |
| Oct 22, 2020 10:49 AM | MDTravis | Asset: World 2, Attraction 1 | Would this be the "day" palette? The clouds are much more visible against the blue background I'm noticing. |
| Oct 22, 2020 10:47 AM | MDTravis | Asset: World 2, Attraction 3 | A cool "night" palette, it is indeed very yellow with lights in the night. |
| Oct 22, 2020 6:52 AM | Domobot | Game: Super Robot Wars W | There are numerous factors that would make ripping full animations difficult, if not impossible. Robot sprites and normal effects are on the same layer, so there'd be no separating them. A small handful of units use pure black in their palettes, which is what you're left with as a background once you disable all the BG layers in Desmume. And annoyingly, Desmume displays sprites ever-so-slightly darker than they are supposed to be... And all that aside, capturing all the frames every unit has, and organizing all that, would take more effort than I'm willing to commit. |
| Oct 22, 2020 4:50 AM | GlacialSiren484 | Asset: Mario, Luigi, Toad, Toadette and Items (SMB3) | @DogToon64: I don't mean like that I mean that people actually really hate this Fire Luigi along with the SMB1 one |
| Oct 22, 2020 4:49 AM | GlacialSiren484 | Asset: Luigi (Super Mario All-Stars, NES-Style) | One thing you did forget was the ears on Raccoon and Tanooki Luigi since if you pay attention to Mario's Nes sprites his entire ear is beige rather than a portion of it Good work on the star jump sprites though |
| Oct 22, 2020 4:38 AM | Joseph | Game: Super Robot Wars W | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pdn1SmsgigY Here's an example of Boss Borot's animations in SRW W. |
| Oct 22, 2020 4:29 AM | Joseph | Game: Super Robot Wars W | Because the animation style of Super Robot Wars uses pieces, not full sprites. This is to make loading and displaying the animations faster. And often times, there will be moves that give the illusion of motion. |
| Oct 22, 2020 3:34 AM | MisterMike | Asset: You Say! Sign (Mania, Somari, and Master System-Style) | Mmmm... WHAT? "You Say!"? |
| Oct 22, 2020 2:04 AM | You Gotta be Joshing me | Asset: General Sprites | How much are you willing to bet that nobody saw that fish when they were kids? |
| Oct 22, 2020 1:18 AM | Retrospect | Asset: Henry Stickmin (Super Mario Bros. 1 NES-Style) | You should make 16-bit ones like in the thumbnail but besides that this sheets great! |
| Oct 22, 2020 12:18 AM | Deleted User | Game: Super Robot Wars W | Nice rips, but why they aren`t assembled? not much use if these are in parts IMO. |
