Something I should note about this ending. For some reason, there appears to be three different versions of the castle falling apart that I've noticed. All versions have the pieces breaking off, but the version I played, and the one I've seen other people play, forgets to remove the castle tiles as they collapse, meaning the castle is still standing. The second version is the castle fully falling apart, and the third version only has the balcony section on the right falling apart, while everything else stays pretty much the same. Friggin' weird. |

For anyone curious about the alternate walking sprites: The way some NES games work is that they make separate chunks for each set of tiles needed. For example, Stage 1 will use one whole graphics chunk, while Stage 2 uses a different one. As a result, certain things such as player sprites and items to be duplicated for each chunk as needed. In some of these instances, however, graphics that are supposed to be the same will differ between chunks. In this instance, Ryu's scarf tile is different in some chunks compared to the others. |

Update, added all missing sprites like 1.3 Spade's idle animations, changed the descriptions of the animations that were initially incorrect and fixed the version numbers of when the sprites were first used and discontinued. Finally, for fun I added an edit for the final frame of 1.3 Spade's spring animation. |
