Not sure whether I like this or the original arcade art style better. Regardless, I love the Rick and Morty joke the guy who ripped this put at the bottom of the sheet. |

Oooh, i wonder if i can submit my old Wittgenstein (Brave Little Toaster) sheet i made years ago. Or perhaps remake it, + other characters? |
May 12, 2020, 9:53 AM | RaguRando | Sheet: Proto Man (Wily Wars-Style) |
About time someone decided to update him to look like his brother. And I stupidly thought their shading didn't look bad (probably because the other sprites were so well done and didn't look rushed [no pun intended]). If I'm correct, this is how he would've looked had they been able to finish him in time, albeit without all the extra (playable) sprites because it's not MM9/10. |

The Peppas Hands Are Too Sharp. |
May 12, 2020, 9:27 AM | RaguRando | Sheet: EVE (Super Mario Bros. 2 NES & SNES-Styles) |
That was fast. Unique how the unselected sprites have her arms tucked in and eyes turned off (though I think the death sprites could do with her angry eyes [and her arms out]). |
May 12, 2020, 9:22 AM | Murphmario | Sheet: Proto Man (Wily Wars-Style) |
Better than those lame reshaded Protoman sprites that were actually used in the Wily Wars. |

I'm not mad at you, but why do people here prefer Allstar SMB3 sprites to actual SMB3 sprites? They are all good, like this one, I'm just confused. |

May 12, 2020, 4:46 AM | Kimono | Sheet: Kunio-kun |
It's not an easy thing. I use a Mame emulator, record in mng video format and separate it in png files. Once this process done, I delete unwanted colours with a graphic software and suppress some black pixels by hand. |

Wonder if this will motivate someone to recreate the sprites from the credits of the movie itself. |

@SpritZ thanks my guy |
May 11, 2020, 12:22 PM | RaguRando | Sheet: WALL·E (Super Mario Bros. 2 NES & SNES-Styles) |
Wow! First Pixar custom, and one from a film I was once going to sprite something from myself! I just couldn't figure out what other style I wanted to use. It may not be the best style to depict WALL·E in because of proportions (and the game's concept), but you worked out a good palette for the NES version. The eyes could've been a bit smaller and flatter to be more accurate, and the SNES one should've had the frame light grey like the hands. Besides those, I was excited to see I've apparently inspired someone else to add a new one. Keep it up. |

Yeah a lot of people seem to forget that technically speaking, "Mode 7" refers solely to the 7th layer of an SNES's graphics, which was commonly used for this early flatplane 3D style. Many people use the term for when arcade or Genesis attachments use it for simplicity's sake, but that's technically misleading and incorrect. |
May 11, 2020, 10:36 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Sheet: Fish Bones (Paper Mario-Style) |
@striker Why would what is allegedly a type of Cheep Cheep be more closely related to a turtle? "Dry Bones" refers to undead Koopa Troopas, not skeletons in general. |

@Cabbage Reznor was the only miniboss in NSMB2, just sometimes in varying amounts. We're trying to talk variety here. |

May 11, 2020, 7:08 AM | Chaos Sonic | Sheet: Super Sonic (Classic, Sonic Pocket Adventure-Style) |
@Brian Fan If you think about it that way, this sheet goes full circle. First Boll used SPA sprites and now there's SPA sprites that look like Super Sonic in the latest version (Of course Power Stones is a mod but it's made by a dev so) |

I just realized there's a pattern to the way the villagers are ordered (within their species, atleast): Villagers who appeared in Wild World Unlike the below groups, the N64/GCN villagers don't seem to have a particular order. Villagers new to Wild World are always last in order, however. N64/GCN Villagers who were cut in Wild World, but returned in later games Unlike the above group, the villagers are actually ordered by their debut game. It goes: Villagers who debuted in the original version -> Villagers who debuted in the Japan-exclusive e+ version -> Islanders (Doesn't matter if they debuted in the original GCN version or the e+ version. They are (almost*) always last in order). *Strangely enough, Dobie is an exception. He is the first of the previously cut wolves in order, despite having been an Islander in the original game. Villagers who made their debut in an installment after Wild World The order goes: City Folk -> New Leaf -> New Horizons. I know this isn't the most useful info ever, it's just something I wanted to point out. |
