Daisy
Daisy would have been helping you fight Tatanga in the SML area of the Mushroom World in 2 Souls' Tale during the first quest. She would have been a hapless rebel leader. If you completed the area, Daisy would have hung around the Mushroom Castle interacting with various characters and eventually kick a soccer ball into Peach's bed room window in frustration (which explains her bottom animation). Idle, talk, criticize, make a point, scold, kick soccer ball, walk, run, hit, turn, freak out.
Dec 21, 2020, 1:16 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Rosalina
Rosalina would have appeared in 2 Souls' Tale in the Mushroom World during the Second Quest. She would appear to Peach in a dream where she asks for the Mario Bros. to go to the Observatory to stop an old enemy from attempting to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. The two Bros. head out to stop this enemy. You follow them at a distance and you would end up fighting Tatanga in the Space Zone. The Mario Bros. would have thought Tatanga was the threat and return to the Mushroom World, but Rosalina would have informed you that the threat was Smithy and would test your own skills (because she doesn't know you) by sending one of her Lumas into a familiar doll to fight you. Afterward, Geno would join you as an assist and you would travel across the stars to eventually end up at Smithy's Factory where you would fight the whole Smithy Gang (they were rebuilding Exor). Animations include: idle, turn, talk, bless, wave wand, walk, and put away wand.

A. Coz
A. Coz, like B, Coz, would have been a background NPC where they'd talk together and you could listen in on their conversation.
Dec 21, 2020, 1:10 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
B. Coz
B. Coz, along with A. Coz, would have been a background NPC. The two would be talking to each other in the Castle Courtyard and you could have listened in on their conversation.
Dec 21, 2020, 1:06 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Bowser
Bowser would have been fought at the end of the First Quest of the Mushroom World in 2 Souls' Tale and would have been an optional fight in the Second Quest aboard his Clown Car. He would have had many moves that he had throughout the Mario series including from Smash Bros. and SMRPG, making for a rather hectic and unpredictable set of boss fights. Bowser, when defeated the second time, would have become a summon assist for you as a reward. His whole role in the story would have been that he found a piece of Dark Matter and he was using its dark powers to defeat Mario and kidnap Peach. Unknown to him was that Dark Matter was whispering to him throughout the whole ordeal trying to drive him mad. His boss fight would have had two outcomes that would have affected the course of the game. If you defeated him instead of destroying the piece of Dark Matter, he would have died and you would be unable to refight him later. This would have affected the ending and would have made it impossible to do certain quests and boss fights later on. The Koopalings would have also consistently come after you as a boss fight getting stronger each time until each fight was unwinnable even at max level should you have run into them enough times because they are out for revenge (though you would probably be at the end of the game by that time). Idle, walk, talk, blink, turn, beta attack, attack 1-2 combo.
Dec 21, 2020, 12:49 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Reznor
The Reznor functions as they did in Super Mario World. The added twist, though, is that not only do their platforms rotate, but the room itself will rotate in the opposite direction! There would have been a lava pit at the bottom of the room that, when rotated overhead, would have dumped lava on you. The animations are: idle, spit fire, close mouth, knocked off, platform, fireball, wheel background.
Dec 21, 2020, 12:46 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Para-Beetle
Flocks of Para-Beetles would appear in certain areas like Vista Hill (in 2 Souls' Tale anyway) to help you over large pits. The can't be defeated and do not harm you.
Dec 21, 2020, 12:44 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Spiny
Spiny would have functioned like he did in the Mario games. Idle, walk, egg, break out of egg, empty shell, turn.
Dec 21, 2020, 12:34 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Mushroom Kingdom Map
This was the Mushroom World from 2 Souls' Tale. You would have started at the bottom center of the map and immediately enter the Mushroom Kingdom. To the left of the MK is Mushroom Way (Goomba King with Red and Blue Goombas would have been here as a boss fight), Koopahari Desert (with an unlockable Sarasa Land represented by a Gameboy there - Totomesu, Dragonzamasu, Hiyoihoi, and Biokinton/Tatanga would have been bosses here), Great Pyramid (bosses would have been Eyerok, Pom Pom, and Fire Bros.) Pipe Land (Mega Smilax would have been here), Vista Hill (Belome would have been here), and Bowser's Keep (which I didn't get around to - it would have had many bosses including the Koopalings, Bowser, Kamek, and Boom Boom). The right showed: Bandit's Way (Croco was here as a boss), Star Hill (which had a hidden Animal Crossing Town area behind a waterfall in there), and Hippo Zone (Wario and Waluigi would have been bosses here in the Second Quest). Space included: Space Zone (Tatanga - rematch - and Watinga would have been bosses here), Astral Observatory (Geno would have tested your skills here in a boss fight before becoming a summon assist), Freezeflame Galaxy (Culex would have been a hidden boss here along with his Crystals), and finally, Second Quest would have culminated in Smithy's Factory (not pictured as I didn't do it) (the bosses there would have been Mack, Bowyer, Yaridovich, Axem Rangers, Countdown, Cloaker, Domino, Mad Adder/Earth Link, Gunyolk and Factory Chief, and Smithy (2 Forms)).
Dec 21, 2020, 12:18 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Bowser's Keep Tileset
This was the tileset used in 2 Souls' Tale for Bowser's Keep. It contained the basic ammenities that I won't discuss here, but the less obvious stuff as to how they are used are the corner decorations (located near the sideways pipes), Bowser face block (which is used for doorways of rooms), a small chandelier (would have been unused), Roto-Disc Sphere (red orb), Mini Stain Glass Windows (would have lined the halls of specific areas), StairCases (appeared in Kamek's and Bowser's boss rooms as well as vertical corridors), Bowser and Koopatrol Statues (appeared intermittently throughout the area - the Bowser ones would shoot lasers and spit fireballs), and the giant window (which would have been in rooms where important items would have been found). The only thing missing from this tileset are things pertaining to the dungeon cells in the lower portions of the Castle as well as decorations for the Koopaling's rooms which I never got around to doing. Wendy's room would have had piles of dolls everywhere and a canopy bed like in AoSMB3, Ludwig would have been a concert hall with flying songbooks and instruments that he would have commanded with a baton, Bowser Jr. would have had toy contraptions that would explode etc. Those are some of the ideas. These sheets can be added to should anyone decide to do them.

These are random platforms from across the Mario series. They pretty much functioned in 2 Souls' like how they did in the games.
Dec 21, 2020, 12:06 PM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Goomba's Shoe
The Kuribo's Shoe was an item that the Shoed Goomba enemy would have dropped randomly when defeated. Using it from the menu caused your character to obviously jump around in a giant green shoe like in SMB3. Unlike in SMB3, however, you could not attack while in the shoe, but you could jump twice as high. You could jump out of the shoe and can choose to pick it up again into your menu or jump back into it, but if you leave it off screen, it'll disappear or if an enemy found it, they would climb into the shoe and use it against you. Either way, you wouldn't have wanted to leave it unattended. Idle, jump, fall, as an item. Also, giant enemies like Iron Giant could not climb into the shoe, but it would get punted off screen when they contacted it.

Mekkabon
Mekkabon behaved just like SML save for the fact that he could now launch a GIANT SCUD MISSILE AT YOU WHEN HIS HEAD WAS FLATTENED. The missile, unfortunately, is not on this sheet. Should have thought ahead. Idle, walk, headless walk, turn, remove head, head float, body launch missile, KO poses and debris.

Batadon
Batadon pretty much functioned like he did in SML for Gameboy. Fly, spit bomb, bomb, KO. As he fell in a KO pose, he would flicker out of existence.
Dec 21, 2020, 11:56 AM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Autobomb
Autobomb functioned exactly as how it did in SMB2. In 2 Souls' Tale, however, several different types of enemies would have ridden it. Idle, move, screech to a halt, turn, fire missile, missile, blast effect, halting effect.
Dec 21, 2020, 11:52 AM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Bully
The Bully was to appear in several later areas during the Mushroom World's Second Quest section of 2 Souls' Tale. They would usually block narrow passage ways so you couldn't get past them or they would push you into spikes. They could not damage you directly like in the games they are from and are invincible save for against a certain weapon that I never decided on. They could be pushed back by any other weapon, though, so there was that. Included are the effects that would appear with him. Idle, idle 2, turn, walk, hit, charge, balancing on the edge. The effects are: anger fume, sweat, angry vein pulse, dust trail.

Kamek
Kamek in 2 Souls' Tale, according to the game's story, had received a premonition that Dark Matter was after two mysterious heroes and, that if they weren't stopped, Dark Matter would be led to the Mushroom World and devour it. So, frightened out of his mind, Kamek tries to take you out. In his boss fight, he mostly just sits in a balcony summoning creatures to fight you while casting heal magic on them when they aren't killed quickly enough. He would also send three magic blasts between fights with the summoned monsters (the monsters would have been Bogmire, Meidou, and Black Jewel). Once Black Jewel was defeated, he'd retreat to plan a further attack later on (which would have been in the Mushroom World's Second Quest part of the game). His animations are: idle, talk left, talk right, summon part 1, summon part 2, blast spell left, blast spell center, blast spell right, blast spell center (w/o staff), charge staff left, charge staff center, charge staff right, summon effect 1, summon effect 2, summon effect 3, summon effect 4, blast spell effects 1, 2, and 3. Also, Kamek could not be hurt during the fight.

Dec 21, 2020, 11:23 AM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Fuzzy
The wacky Fuzzies would have functioned how they did in Super Mario World in 2 Souls' Tale, but would detach from their guided path on the track when you came into contact with them and start draining your HP much like how they did in Paper Mario. You could shake them off and they would fall off screen. They would not regenerate until you left the room and returned.
Dec 21, 2020, 11:19 AM SmithyGCN Sheet:
Angry Sun
The Angry Sun was going to have the same function as he did in SMB3, but he would randomly phase into existence in random rooms in the Koopahari Desert area of 2 Souls' Tale. His elements would have been light and fire, but he would be invincible yet you could stun him with a strong enough attack. He was a layered sprite and his rays would have behaved much like the orb of Chaos Form 2 from Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. You have the bright shine overlay, body, rays, idle face, blink face, look left, look right, and solar flare. An example shows how it all goes together.
