The tiling of the hatches is actually bugged in game. As Fred Bronze points out on S3 Unlocked, the 16x16 blocks along the center of those chunks got swapped vertically somehow, resulting in a weird pattern which doesn't look like it could actually open. What the sheet shows is how it should look if it weren't bugged. |

As I have pointed out on the Mecha Sonic sheet, there's a bug with the Lavafall Platforms. Normally, they use palette 03, but this results in the weird flowing look. If it is set to palette 02, then it becomes clear that it was meant to match the look of the other platforms seen in the Act, as well as the dark red colored rocks. https://tcrf.net/Sonic_%26_Knuckles#Palette_Oddities |

Just found out that there's a bug with the Egg Wrecker's palette. The chain is set to palette 01, which make it look off. It should have palette 00, which is the same as the Eggpod. This is something that was pointed out on TCRF's page: https://tcrf.net/Sonic_%26_Knuckles#Palette_Oddities |

It’s unlikely but not completely out of the realm of possibility that we’d need to skip a week. The staff are all people and have their own lives so you never know what’s going to happen. Even if it did though, you know there would be a good reason. And yes, way back when, updates kind of happened whenever. They were much smaller and were not scheduled. These days, we try to stick to a weekly schedule which definitely results in bigger updates. |

When you can't think of a good reply to say thanks for the update, well we all get busy from time to time. @SpritZ Unless something serious happens around here, chances of that happening are low. I'm sure that the staff would have a backup plan anyway. Saying that there were days pre-tSR where there probably were no submissions. Then you get them about 2 or 3 times a week and some weeks nearly every day (thinking more like 3-30 than 300 though), the Saturday updates that we know and love weren't in the early days. |

One thing I want to mention about this sheet, is that normally in the game, every single sprite uses the exact same green colour (which was the "default colour" for transparency on Game Maker 7) for its transparent areas. However, on this sheet, and on the "zombie salaryman" sprite on another sheet, the sprites themselves use colours that are extremely close to the transparency green, so I modified them slightly for the sheets to use a different colour to make it easier to see the sprites. |
