@sametdze because the game is animated with individual parts for the characters. so they dont need to draw a new frame for every single pose. for an example, the game plants vs zombies is animated that way and you can look at the sheets that almost every single part of a plant/zombie is separated into a single drawing. like the hands, head, mouth, ect |

Yes, as with Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact, the returning characters each have a new default palette while their original colors were mapped to Roundhouse. Only during the attract mode do the returning characters use their regular colors on their Victory Portraits. Also, IIRC, the characters display their default palette of this game regardless of which palette was selected. In the next game in the series, Vampire Savior, all characters have their regular colors for their default palette. |

@Yawackhary This could have helped to make the game good, even the SNES can make 3D games without a special chip, but there are games that don't use a special chip and make a good 3D, like the Star Trek Starfleet Academy and Wicked 18 games (Being that the last render time is slow, but it's a golf game, not made to be frantic) |

Even if Mecha Sonic stole the emerald again, the ME is what makes Angel Isle float. If they're that far apart from each other then the island can't float. And also, from my understanding, Sky Sanctuary is directly above AI. In Knux's boss fight it's parallel and about 3 or 4 miles adjacent. I know when knux activates the teleporter in Sonic's route AI was at sea level but knux's ending takes place after the emerald's been returned. So the problems are, Angel Island is floating without the Master Emerald. And Sky Sanctuary is far away and to the side of the island while the island is floating without the Master Emerald. |

You're missing the biggest and most obvious part - Angel Island is rising out of the ocean in Sonic's (Good) Ending, and Angel Island is in the sky at Knuckles' final boss. |

It could take place after Sonic's, but there are still plot holes. The omission of the emerald theft is a huge one. And if Mecha Sonic is guarding the Master Emerald AFTER the Death Egg launched, what the hell's fueling the Death Egg? XD |

@Rottytops64 Yeah, it's a bad port of the arcade game. There's just so many issues with it outside of the obvious speed issue from having a tighter time limit than the arcade to input lag when the frame rate drops to parts of the track design being cut back and the presentation is all wrong... It's very possible to crash your car at the start of the game going over the first jump just because the physics are poor. Besides the game came out in 1991 (very early into the SNES's life, one of the earliest games made in the US) and the helper chips such as the SuperFX and especially the SA1 that would have helped just weren't there yet. So its pretty much more or less what the SNES can do at the time. The Genesis version is better but that also has problems being unfinished. So yeah, the arcade version is the best but the Game Boy version isn't too bad for the hardware though (done by the same people as Star Fox). |

This game is unplayable due to low FPS, this game renders the entire screen and it only shows a part and doesn't use SNES CPU functions that would help to improve this, and I prefer the Arcade version anyway |
