| May 28, 2025 7:50 PM | MisterMike | Asset: Sonic the Hedgehog | @fnf_fan_9999 The dark backgrounds are used to denote sprites in an animation that have already been displayed on the sheet. for example, the running victory animation begins with three sprites that are used as part of the normal running animation, so those frames are given the dark background to show that they are the same. It helps cut down on potential confusion when someone's planning on using these for things like ROM hacks and the like. |
