Remember that they had to prioritize more important stuff like a completely new sprite-sheet for Kirby with fully compatible Ability Hats (mind you, at a higher framerate and more advanced sprites than Kirby Super Star since stuff like the Fire is more detailed), or giving Enemies more than 2 or 3 sprites for animation, as the NES game did. Amazing Mirror looks as good as it does since most of the heavy lifting was already done. I'd say for a game released within a deadline on new hardware, NiDL still looks good. |
