I always theorized that the bosses in particular were originally made to be their own thing, but then they were thrown into this cheaply made Mega Man fangame.

oh, man, these are so bad!
but i've seen enough shitty corporate pixel art-style illustrations to appreciate something without mixels or dorkly-style rigs, the technique isn't that bad! just the palette is. really bad

I agree with ya, m80. These look like they're from a friggin DOS game! And holy crap, what is up with Bass? I guess spriting... wasn't their Forte.
