Are 3DS sprites tile-based, bitmap-based, image-based, or all of the above?

Oh yeah, I forgot the microgame was also in WarioWare: Twisted!. :P
Those sprites existed since the original iteration of this Microgame.
Here it is folks, official SMB3-styled Big Mario death sprites.
- Fixed the water sprites because I found out they had some bleed issues. This should be the last time I'll update the sheet.
