How are the credits images handled? Are they just an FMV?
a good ol game that i got from 2013
As far as I am aware, those "images" are actually 3D models rendered in real-time. They work just like any other cutscene would, but in this case, the characters are in a still position against a blank background (which appears as black in-game).
