Do you still have those removed sprites? I'd still like to use them, even if they don't belong on this sheet...

Interesting, I've never reached that amount of combos to transform the boulder indicator into the rock variants:

But that means they're actually part of the interface and not really boulders you can work with, therefore I'll remove them from this sheet.
I keep them in mind for a future sheet with bg, interface and sfx, though.

The leftmost sprite in that "unused" section isn't unused, its used for the garbage indicator at the top of the screen (as it is in all other Puyo Puyo games). The remaining three sprites ARE unused, however they're meant to be using a dark blue palette. By using a cheat device to unlock the full "Special Custom" menu in either Super Puyo Puyo or Kirby's Avalanche, a normally-inaccessible rule labelled as "HARD" can be toggled to "SPECIAL" which causes all Garbage Puyo (or Boulders) to be replaced by the unused blue "devil Puyo". It behaves just like the Hard Puyo from Puyo Puyo 2, just with that alternate appearance.
