Hmm, I never noticed that. (I didn't see Sonic move into frame for the first couple frames.)
...But everything past the first line (which is just a palette swap) is a unique frame of animation, though, so leaving those out wouldn't make much sense.
Respectfully on rips like these, I don't get putting every frame of the title screen. Like, it's cool and all but also a waste of potential space. I could just open up the original game to see the full thing if I wanted to.
I'm sure Sega still has them, that's how the Origins version looks so good
it would be kind of cool if we somehow found the raw renders of Sonic from the title screen.
W H I T E S C R E E N, *its a transition?*
it looks more like sonic is having a seizure.
14th picture: Blunko your changing!
@MadeKillaSam: Probably because the transition is too complex to adapt compared to the first two games.
Why do Sonic character rom hacks have trouble with changing this title screen?
Looking at the Origins game menu, the left island is either South Island or the place Littleplanet was chained to in CD
More likely it was just an earlier design that S&K updated, similar to Knuckles getting made a deeper red.
EDIT: Well, the playable Knuckles, anyway.
EDIT: Well, the playable Knuckles, anyway.
The left island in the background could be Sonic 1's South Island, as correlating how deep Angel Island is in the ocean relative to the appearance it makes at the end of Sonic & Knuckles only makes this game's setting look weirdly split, which isn't the canon.
level select code ptsd
@MCTravisYT I don't think so, the head looks bigger in S3K
I've always wondered if this was the same model used in 3D Blast as they look similar, even if 3D rendered
I've always wanted to see that full body sprite of Sonic when he pops into the ring.
when will they finally seperate sonic from the ring? it's never like that in-game
3D S3&K confirmed.(but it's almost 2D lol.(maybe... 2.5D))
