Because it only appears randomly in the two player split screen mode where the resolution quality is super squashed and compressed I used to misinterpret the Eggman monitor icon as some kind of butterfly / moth, and never understood why it would hurt you.
Well, Sonic IS the main character
going off of pure guesswork, id assume it wouldve worked like a one-time-use spring, it MIGHT have had a higher jump boost, but i dont really know
I wonder what the unused spring will look like?
I just recognised that there is no custom "Tails" or Knuckles speed shoes sprites oh well.
