the tornado carrying the master emerald like that isn't physically accurate. sonic team didn't understand the simple concept of gravity. sonic & knuckles is now the worst game ever!!!
This is used in Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. Also, his shoes are shorter.
@DiamondmanPixel76 it's not only recolored look tho, but the shoes and eyes are changed

I just noticed that the first frame of Sonic's ending is the same as the first frame of his ending in Sonic 1 but recolored look
Post-Credits epilogues may come, but in essence the only unique thing will be the big old logo from S3K. I might end up including that on this sheet since I already have the Robotnik, Egg-Robo and Mecha Sonic elements ripped to their sheets.
