@Kuromi He's a yellow ball with a big mouth and has a "Ms." counterpart with a red ribbon. The similarity seems obvious to me.

See I just thought of the SMRPG enemy.
Hipopo the Platypus. And like Tiki the Kiwi, his New Zealand Story counterpart, he's very ambiguous looking for a platypus. Hence the name oddly being a play on "hippo"
