	The sprites are all just taken from the RSDK remasters, as seen by Sonic's shoe stripe in his spring bounce animation. They probably just didn't think too much about what sprites are and aren't in the originals.

	Maybe it's a nod to some unused sprites from the Genesis version of S1? IDK Though he did have the ability in the 3DS version of the game if my memory's correct.

	sonic didn't have the spindash in sonic 1 or hold onto stuff from below what-no the sprite borders are just really...off looking in general, what the hell and why'd they have to plaster the logo everywhere!
