As for the death scenes, Kazuo and Taguchi look the same as each other when they die. Akiko, Asuka and even daughter Emi look the same each as other when they die. There's no palette swapping, either. I'd still have to play up to the part where Yamamura sacrifices himself.

Edit: Never mind, they're in the Events sheet.

At least they had the common sense to actually make and call it a different thing. Unlike today they toss out some halfbaked nonsense slap a title and call it a Remake even tho it's 99% different from the original media and so halfbaked that cannot even 1% of it live up to the original from what it was spawned from.

I lost count how many Remakes (spinoffs) of RE2 and RE3 we got in 20 years that have nothing to do with the originals and some have almost no connection to the franchise at all ...
