@game4brains In a nutshell, yes, that's pretty much how it works.
So, given the revelation that an NES ROM loader exists in Animal Crossing in the form of the "generic no-cartridge NES" furniture item, I'm guessing that the NES cartridge icon would be used for memory card blocks that contain NES ROMs.
