yeah, but from the looks of it this sheet is ancient so it was probs approved when quality standards were lower
Don't the letters also have animations?
I think they used the Sonic 1 sprites because this released before the 16-bit version, however this was released after all the betas drx found (even Beta 8) meaning the sprites were finished, so this may not be the case...
@Altzer Probably because those were the best-looking finished Sonic sprites they had.
They used the Sonic 1 sprites for Sonic oddly
I like how the level icons loom just like the Sega Genesis Sprites for Sonic
