It's funny how similar the map is to A Link to the Past's, but that makes sense. Sand southwest, village west, forest northwest, mountains north, swamp northeast, palace east, and brown terrain southeast, with a castle near the centre (though here it's closer to the northeast, and the mountains additionally extend the length of the island north).
