This game is notable for being one of the few Game Boy games that crashes in mGBA due to an obscure instruction regarding the Memory Bank Controller (the ROM bankswitching chip) that the game uses. Good thing for alternative emulators otherwise this wouldn't be ripped.

Also this game has no connection to the SNES/N64 games (or the Namco Pole Position games while we are at it) but rather a localized version of a Satoru Nakajima F-1 Hero game with a manga flavour. Similar actually to the Genesis version of Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge where the other versions had involvement from System 3.
