Aye, or use a overhead style base to make it. The problem isn't the quality here as it is good, but to be Pac-Man style he needs a front and back view. I need to submit my Wreck-it Ralph Pac-Man sheets of Ralph and Cyril (Zombie bad guy) I eyeballed them from movie screen captures.

The closest I could ever think of that could make most sense for a "Pac-Man" style Mario is to just recycle the SMW overworld map sprites and just limit the colors to Pac-Man's palette (plus, he'd fit directly within the maze too).
