@TheMorningFlash15 A few Super Mario World assets, most notably Bowser, did get redesigned in SMM to fit their modern looks, so frankly I'm not surprised.
And now we know what the official SMW Hammer Bros. and Chain Chomps are, not the ones in SMM.
@Mr Porkchop Could have been their "hide in the dark room" enemy before they decided to have Ninji do that. Though it appears to be walking with a Goomba-like animation....
I guess the final Map- and Baby-Yoshi sprites looking different makes sense...
Does anyone have any idea what that black creature on the top-right/next to the cheep-cheep was supposed to be? I'm assuming it was either some placeholder sprite or a really early design for the Fuzzies.
