They could've gone with the Sweet Cap'n K_K route and did little miniface portaits for them, iirc Elnina has one unused!
@Donowa yeah, now that you mention it, there was like, no new characters with dialogue portraits in the last three chapters, all i can think of is carol, flowery, and blue
i always felt like the game needed more dialogue portraits after chapter 1, it was especilally needed for elnina and lanino since i couldn't tell who was saying what
