@Jacc Jorep The characters are indeed sprites but the game is not the easiest to rip. Why they aren't ripped is because as an example Beat has a LOT of poses. The ROM layout is literally sprite, garbage (palette data?), sprite, garbage. Meaning that after ripping one sprite you have to mess about with the offset then rip again for every pose. They aren't set up so you would have to assemble them (then possibly align them too). It is going to take from quite a while to a long time ripping unless you're a programmer who can reverse engineer. There is also some compression as well in terms of the graphics. Since it uses the same engine, it is also why you see barely any sprites from the Tony Hawk games on the GBA. Same reason. |

Oh God, the screenshot in the thumbnail was taking during the invisible part of the water flicker hhhhh it bothers me greatly. Also, I feel like the thumbnail should be of Super Sonic and Tails, since those were the two main additions to the game - just my thoughts and feelings |

@Gaia That's 1000% intentional. It's been four years since you posted that, so you're probably aware at this point, but in case you're not, IGA was and still is a diehard JoJo fan, and this is just one of many JoJo references to be found in Castlevania games from Symphony of the Night to Order of Ecclesia. There is a Stone Mask in almost every game since SotN, holding Up on the D-pad usually results in a JoJo pose, and if you equip Juste with the Fist subweapon, he'll shout 'ORAORAORAORA!' And of course, it's not a coincidence that when Zephyr laughs, one could be forgiven for thinking he might be shouting 'WREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!' if the volume is off. Of course, after OoE, IGA was fired and excommunicated from the company for disagreeing with the executive decision to shamefully inter his masterpieces to spend eternity as nothing but pachinko machines. To this day, they refuse to sell him the rights to Castlevania out of spite. |

This Pokey animation still bothers me to this day. They didn't even bother to use frames for the Z axis animation (idk what it's called, "bobbing left and right"??) It's all just sprites that's moving, not animated. |

The Stars sprite appears on top of the background when you start the game. The Stars will stay until you reached 50K. |

Left Side - GBA Version Right Side - DSi Version The Fireworks only appears when you reach 50K in the Monochrome part and will stays there until you quit out the game. The Fireworks also cause the Stars Sprite to disappear in the background for some reasons. |

@Dolphman Also Pointdexter's mid-inflation sprite had misaligned tiles in the Genesis version, which are properly aligned now. More a fix rather than a change, but w/e. |
