Nov 8, 2024 10:44 PM TotallyNotNess Asset: Person Nodon What's the mouth for? Prototypes?
Nov 8, 2024 10:42 PM TotallyNotNess Game: Game Builder Garage that icom lmao
Nov 8, 2024 8:17 PM Doc von Schmeltwick Asset: Luigi For people wondering who the dark-skinned guy is, pretty sure he's the default "curator" character. The CD-ROM Deluxe version had more variance there, including Mario characters.
Nov 8, 2024 7:50 PM BamberAndDace Asset: Luigi weegee is real
Nov 8, 2024 7:04 PM PGE Game: Kick Attack Something really weird with KA's sprites is that they're all slightly darker than their Doom equivalents. I think whoever did the sprites used a degraded version of Doom's palette, which means the sprites didn't convert back correctly.

I don't know how to explain all the holes in everything, though.
Nov 8, 2024 6:36 PM Danny Jarquin Asset: Special Stage 6 Background the only way i can describe this is "I'm tasting colors"
Nov 8, 2024 6:30 PM Danny Jarquin Asset: Game Over Screens the first image looks like a nightmarish version of Yoshi's Island
Nov 8, 2024 6:26 PM Danny Jarquin Asset: Opening the bird on the 7th image looks like he saying "Make this earbleeding music stop"
Nov 8, 2024 6:24 PM roninwolf1981 Asset: Titania Backgrounds Being a veteran player of the SNES Star Fox game, I've often mulled over the types of planets that these worlds were supposed to be, and I've been fascinated with Titania most of all. Was this planet supposed to be more of a temperate version of Titan (Saturn's moon), seeing that Titania was listed as planet #2 in the Lylat system, or like Mars, but with a heavier atmosphere, and not like Venus? And the final leg for this stage had what appeared to be a Biodome, where the stage's boss was at. I never really got the "sandy desert planet" vibe from this planet when playing this game, and it was a bit of a surprise to see Titania changed in Star Fox 64 to be a red version of Tatooine or Arakkis.
Nov 8, 2024 6:24 PM Danny Jarquin Asset: Sonic so basically:
Sonic Triple Trouble but in monochrome
Nov 8, 2024 6:14 PM roninwolf1981 Asset: Macbeth Surface Before Star Fox 64, I always felt that Macbeth was supposed to be this volcanically active hellscape, not the oven-like Venus of our own reality, but something like Mustafar from the Star Wars films. Imagine my surprise to see Macbeth as a much greener world when Star Fox 64 was released.
Nov 8, 2024 6:11 PM roninwolf1981 Asset: Venom Surface I remember seeing screenshots of this stage in magazines promoting the game (before the cancellation), but I do remember reading that the planet Venom was being restored and terraformed from the polluted wasteland it was in the first game.
Nov 8, 2024 5:42 PM * Lilithtreasure Asset: Tetriminos (Tetris, Giga Tetris), & Bio Tetris Pieces okay, so the small text might need some explaining; the P stands for placed, as in dropped; it was originally a D but it could've been confused for the skull and crossbones (which was meant to stand for game over; like that's how the pieces look when you get a game over) i know it might not look like a skull and crossbones; it was such a tiny area to try to make that graphic in :V

the white square is the line(s) clear graphic
everything below the Z (green ala Sega/Arika) piece is part of the Bio Tetris Mode.... which... has these.
the colors beyond the green piece graphic on the right are from the Random Color option, and only appear when that option is set (It does what it says, when set to on; each piece is given a random color amongst those 10 color choices; this would mean pieces could have a chance in showing up in their SRS (Super Rotation System)/Guideline colors (I-cyan, J-blue, L-orange, O-yellow, S-green, T-purple, and Z-red); you could have and see O pieces in many colors during a level!

but I think I might have a possible contender for a sheet name that's not so overly long; so I sent that sheet name (more shorter than... the long horse that was the original submitted sheet name) over as a revision just now

as for what original submitted sheet name I was referring to; well, if you'd like to know (but also sorry), it was "Tetriminos (Tetris), and Pentaminoes, Trominoes, Domino, Monomino (Bio Tetris)" (Bio Tetris as to indicate that the pieces below the 7 usual tetrimino shapes only appeared in the Bio Tetris game mode) but don't worry, this isn't the name change. It's way shorter than my original submitted title, as to incorporate elements from that original title without running the name space into the ground.

Nov 8, 2024 4:54 AM * Random Talking Bush Game: ValiDate: Struggling Singles In Your Area @16-Bit Globe: I'm led to believe that I might've been duped, so allow me to add a massive "citation needed" for that. The original context that was brought up here was that they, supposedly [as stated, citation needed], reposted an anti-Italian "meme" on their official account stating "Repost if your account is not a safe space for Italian "people"". I have not been able to find the source of that tweet when I looked it up for myself other than the dubious wiki page that was also posted here earlier. At this point I wouldn't put it past people to fabricate those kinds of things just to stir up controversy (pictures of Twitter posts can be easily faked, after all)...
