| Jun 28, 2025 7:53 AM | Lambda_Labs | Asset: Dark World NPCs (Chapter 4) | there is no explanation on Tao he's just in a random inaccessible corner in chapter 4, also labeled as a debug asset in the room file |

| Jun 28, 2025 6:35 AM | Kilo | Asset: SEGA Copyright Font (Expanded) | I know this is like a 3 year old discussion on the matter but the top palette would actually be the filtered one. The bottom one reflects Sega's archival assets and how (relatively) the palette data is represented on the Mega Drive. While the top palette is what may come out of some consoles and on your screen, with all sorts of console revisions, different chips, video outputs, stuff like that it can fluctuate. So I much prefer having sheets that use the colour ramp used by the mobile port and Sega's assets. It also makes it easier to import into ROM hacks and stuff, because again, it's how the palettes are actually stored in the data. |
| Jun 28, 2025 6:00 AM | CheddarVG | Asset: Jidoor | Hey, I know the Relic shop from a certain web comic. |
| Jun 28, 2025 4:42 AM | Deep Weeb | Asset: Ralsei (Chapter 1 + 2) | You know, I think I know why hatless Ralsei's portrait sprites looked so "off" to me in Chapters 3 & 4, and is that he looks too much like Arthur now???? |
| Jun 28, 2025 4:22 AM | teh_supar_hackr | Asset: Miscellaneous Screens & HUD's | This game has an odd amount of connections with DK64 |
| Jun 28, 2025 4:12 AM * | CreeperJaxon | Asset: Carol Holiday | I swear I went into fight or flight one I saw her (also why her dialogue face built like an N64/Playstation character) |
| Jun 28, 2025 4:05 AM | CreeperJaxon | Asset: Noelle (Chapter 1-4) | @Smoke-The-Pyroling you mean T H E scene in chapter 4 right, cause if so, it ain't... close... but it's slightly different, the sheet bg tone is #8a5a9d while here skin & antlers are #9d5788 they're similar, but not the same (background skin & antlers) the other color, for her face and clothes, are also similar, but not the same, being #ae8dc2 (background skin & antlers face and clothes) |

| Jun 28, 2025 2:51 AM | Madbird82 | Asset: Excess Express Engineer | Looking at this guy's oversized cap really raises a lotta questions nowadays considering the mushroom part is now part of Toad's head. ...Did he STUFF that cap in his head, or am I losing my mind?! |
| Jun 28, 2025 2:37 AM | Madbird82 | Asset: General White | 21 years and we're still going from place to place trying to track down this dude. |

| Jun 28, 2025 12:48 AM | Sully1028 | Asset: Title Screen | I hate it when that happens. |
| Jun 28, 2025 12:12 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Asset: Hyper Bob-omb & Ultra Bob-omb | They do resemble Bob-omb NPCs in PM64. They probably just decided to go with the big guys. |
| Jun 27, 2025 11:54 PM | Yawackhary | Asset: Backgrounds (Remix OEM) | A weird story about this. This was the original version when the game was known as Virtua Fighter Remix (same as the Saturn/STV), it was bundled with the Diamond Edge 3D graphics card. This graphics card used quads, just like the Saturn and made sense for Sega to port the game. Problem was that the graphics card flopped and Sega still wanted to support PC gaming especially with DirectX. Sega then decided to completely redo the port from scratch 8 months later, even the glitched AM2 jingle got fixed. It's still a port of Virtua Fighter Remix with some updates but technically is different (the ground .BMP textures were dropped for the update but gained higher resolution backgrounds, a few easier to rip things). Only the character textures and the music kept the same. Meaning Remix pretty much doesn't work without that graphics card while PC is still somewhat working if broken over time. Funnily enough, the backgrounds were originally upside down! |

| Jun 27, 2025 11:30 PM | deltaConduit | Asset: Ray (Sonic 1-Style) | @Davidee like with mighty's torso being longer, ray's chub stems from ohshima's sketch design of ray. one quick google search and you'll find the image :p |
| Jun 27, 2025 11:22 PM * | Random Talking Bush | Asset: Kris (Chapter 1 + 2) | @Lambda_Labs: They're not even in the correct order, either... (EDIT: Seeing as how that's only one animation out of dozens that were added in to Chapter 3+4, and how they didn't even have the correct order, I've opted to revert this submission to the previous version. Any new sprites for Kris should be added to a new submission containing all of the respective animations.) |
| Jun 27, 2025 11:14 PM | Fawfulthegreat64 | Asset: End of Chapter | inb4 the game gets a remake and they replace this iconic line with the much more flaccid "CLEARED" again -_- this line was untouched for the first 3 games for good reason. It's like they actively un-localized that line for the TTYD remake. |
| Jun 27, 2025 11:12 PM | Lambda_Labs | Asset: Kris (Chapter 1 + 2) | Why edit the sheet entire sheet just to add one new animation (sitting with noelle)? They get like a hundred new animations in Chapters 3+4 |
| Jun 27, 2025 11:10 PM | LapisLink | Asset: Big Ring (S3K, Chaotix-Style) | @stan studios Thanks! I worked hard on this. Should be updated with a smoother animation soon! |
| Jun 27, 2025 11:00 PM | Fawfulthegreat64 | Game: Super Paper Mario | @Danny Jarquin they didn't "port" TTYD, that's a whole remake. |
| Jun 27, 2025 10:42 PM | Its-A-Me_Austin | Game: Auf Wiedersehen Monty | Not to be confused with the Mario enemy character of the same name. |
