Whoever riped this did a horrible job. practically every sprite has some sort of artifact on it. it needs a rerip BADLY.
IMHO, the autumn "mushrooms" palette is underused.
same reason as the mushrooms
and somehow get fireflowers from mushrooms for no reason whatsoever? no thank you
incase you want to farm points?
why would you need 25 mushrooms??
they were actually hidden in the original game
with no intention of being rude, may I ask why there are tiles in palettes that they're never seen using in normal gameplay? is it for the minus worlds and/or easy access to alternate palettes?
Its from the 25 anniversary from the wii :3
But if it was in the original i think that would work

So you're telling me the Toads were the bricks Mario broke
The 25 Block should’ve spit out 25 mushrooms or coins
was looking for this thanks i'll always credit you guys, thank you for your hard work
I just read it, they are useful, but it's still a loooooooooooooo...ooooooooot
It does use the underground palette.
@tommytcu I know that the coin palette uses the underground color scheme. Once I saw a video where someone hacked the game to include enemy sprites in the transition screen, and they also used their underground palettes. That's pretty much all I can say.
@tommytcu I think it’s the normal palettes, however I’m not really sure, even though I played the game before about 2-3 years ago
Which palette is used during level transitions?
LifeWithKai: The crown?
I don't believe I recognize those last few tiles in the CHR tilemap from anywhere. I know they were cleaned up and left unused in The Lost Levels, and they may have been altered and used in ROM hacks, but why were they originally all mumbojumbo like that?
What is the tile in the tilemap on the far right, on the same line as the castle doorframe, 2 spaces below the bridge chain? I know It's grayed out on this page, but I can't find whatever page it's from, and I don't immediately recognize it
