I believe there were actual green Cheep Cheeps in the GameBoy Color version (SMBDX), weren't there?
They're in the game, it's just you don't see them since in underwater levels, anything that'd be green in OW levels (or teal in UG and castle levels) becomes white in UW levels.
There are green Cheep Cheeps? I've never seen those in the game.
@Marscaleb: They're from a version of the game called All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros., which was raffled away on the radio show of the same name in Japan way back when.
Okay, I'll bite. What are those sprites for the goombas and piranha plants with the guy wearing glasses? I don't recall seeing that anywhere before.
