Actually, as far as I can tell, you cannot use this to make custom designs from scratch.
Are you though? Are you really a teacher? (I love the English translations of these games that I have to literally comment about it.)
@Hans-Cuff: This was some sort of "game" released for the Famicom where you could make sweater designs and send them off to a company (assuming it's Nintendo or a company that partnered with them) and get your sweater designs on a sweater in the mail. (And to think that the Mario sewing flash games were pointless and odd...)
