This is not intended behavior and is meant to auto-close when zooming as well. We're working on resolving this with our provider but in the meantime, refreshing often fixes it. Fun fact: The free trail version of the J2ME port has a time limit of 30 seconds, once the time is up you instantly get a game over no matter what. It's such a short amount of time that I don't even have enough time to beat the first maze.
