This is not intended behavior and is meant to auto-close when zooming as well. We're working on resolving this with our provider but in the meantime, refreshing often fixes it. Same remark as Sonic 3 (https://www.spriters-resource.com/genesis_32x_scd/sonicth3/sheet/26305/#comments): the magenta pixel in the last Fireball Spin Dash and the one in the 3rd Fire Shield front layer (group of 3x3 on the right) sprite should be empty (in dark green here).
