I initially assumed Burrowbot/Grounder, but the stance and generic name later made me think otherwise.
Actually, Mole might really be Burrowbot from Sonic 1! It shares a lot of design similarities, such as the tread feet, moving around underground, and being based off a mole. But since it doesn't stand upright, it's hard to see it clearly.
Mole is based off of a scrapped Sonic 2 badnik, right?
