I mean if you don't want your work to go to waste you could always just upload all the bits and bobs you've made over 15 years in one big package
I may end up doing just that, but there's still some cleaning up to do first before I feel good about letting others try it.
Some random odds and ends and edits that didn't quite pan out.
I've also considered having this project moved under the NES using the new "Unofficial" labeling for bootlegs and hacks, but it's still very unfinished.
I've been uploading these mainly so my work doesn't end up going to waste...

Might be a good idea for you to release the hex edits as their own moddable base
As I said, there's a bit of hex editing required to make everything display properly. Just change the duplicated tiles to new ones and you're golden.
The windows, columns and crystal altars also require that some extra tiles be added.

Sick. Only complaint is that those banners aren't actually compatible with the game's tilemap (there's only 4 tiles reserved for curtains when your banners clearly use 8)
Also, to solve the statue/Iron Knuckle problem you could hypothetically just edit the rest of the Iron Knuckle's tiles to make it work (though this would be a heap of extra work so I completely understand why you didn't do this).

There's a bit of KDL Bubbly Clouds in the Sky Temple, too.
Love that you not only included palettes, but also the IDs (or whatever they're called) for each color. Very handy!
Forest Temple's got a version of the SMB3 Wood Block
These are just a selection of temple tilesets that I made while working on my Zelda 2 hack.
Tthese graphics are compatible with the Z2 ROM, but require a fair amount of hex editing to make them display properly.
The good news is that the original game has a large amount of unused and redundant tiles, making it rather easy to add new graphics.
The Great Temple does not usually feature an altar that the crystals are placed in, but made one anyway in case someone wanted to use it for a regular temple.
At first, I really wanted to give each temple a different statue/armor (like an angel for Sky Temple and a mermaid for Water Temple) but you can't edit the statue graphics without also editing the Iron Knuckle itself. Oh well.

It developed as an outgrowth of the Hyrule/North Castle edit, mainly using the same column and brick style.
The Temple of Time didn't really have its own symbol in OoT (other than maybe the Door of Time, which I considered using but was too complicated) so I made a custom symbol in a similar style as the medallions with an hourglass motif.
