wait... does this mean YOUR MOM ZONE act 69 is possible
Theres this hack that adds lowercase (sonic github madness 4) but most zones dont use it. Examples include wario hallway act 1 and cold brew zone act 2. If ya wanna see it, the level select works the same as sonic 1
oh yeah i totally get resenting the creator of the OG creepypasta but, i think it's just kinda dumb to lock down your art for a whole category of fangames just because the person who made like the very first iteration of it ever is a bad person... also imo the 1st point comes from a place of judgment from years ago that is severely outdated, i mean i've seen plenty of absolutely fantastic EXE fangames
From what I can understand, there's two main reasons why people don't want their custom sprites in .EXE games or other related creepypasta games:
1. .EXE games themselves are generally very low quality, which itself stems from the fact that, well, the original creepypasta and the game made afterwards were both quite bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. This also seems to have affected creepypasta games as a whole.
2. The original creator of said creepypasta is a pretty gross person. I'm sure as fuck not going into it, you can research it for yourself if you want. It's worth noting that the person that made the game is not the same person, and they do disapprove of the creepypasta creator's actions.

i've never really understood all the "DON'T USE IN EXE GAMES" stuff on this site, feels like the modern version of putting "YOU MUST GIVE CREDIT!!!" on a sprite rip instead of your own sprites
